    Sturdy piece
    I use it for drip irrigating my terrace garden. I am immensely happy to have been using the same for my garden in my courtyard downstairs too, for the past almost a year. I have not had to change the battery so far. I have installed the second one myself after watching the plumber install the first one and noticing how easy it is.

    An useful product for terrace/balcony gardens
    It’s a very good product. It is sturdy. It performs it’s intended function without any problem. I have been using this over a month now. I had set the timer and was traveling for a fortnight. All my plants were well watered. It’s peace of mind when you are traveling.

    Negatives
    – metal part has started to rust after justb3 weeks, so is it India friendly? only time will tell
    – user interface is not intuitive, the model with the knobs would’ve been better

    ! didn’t realise that a teflon tape is required when mounting on a metal tap
    ! Batteries have to be replaced in a particular order to avoid having to set up the program again.
    ! after replacing in above order, the led will blink forever, so there is trick for that as well.

    Worry free watering for your garden!
    The media could not be loaded.  Got delivered in 2 days! Awesome! Short term review after installation:

    Pros:
    1. The build quality is very good.
    2. Very easy to install.
    3. Setting the timer programs is easy once you get the hang of it.
    4. They provide adaptors for all kinds of taps, so you don’t have to go and get a plumber for just that.
    5. The plastic shield seems to be water tight to some extent. So don’t worry about frying the electronics if a leak occurs.
    6. Works even with low water pressure. Some other water timers available online have a valve that requires a minimum of 7ft height difference between the tap and tank to even open the valve. But, this one works well even on the terrace where water pressure will be lower.
    7. There’s a rain sensor port which can delay watering during rains. Haven’t tried it yet. It has to be purchased separately.

    Cons:
    1. The battery compartment gives me anxiety every time I open it. The wires are attached to the battery case. So if you’re not careful you’ll rip off the wires.
    2. Have no clue how long the battery will last. Some reviews say it doesn’t last long. I’ll update the review after testing.
    3. The transparent plastic shield is a screw type. So it’s frustrating to unscrew it every time if you want to manually water the plants. It should have been a flip up type.

    Note: Get a 2/4 way splitter like mine, so that you can still use the water tap without the timer.

    Review will be updated if any issues occur over the long term.

    इसे इंस्टॉल करना आसान है। इसमें कई प्रोग्राम सेट हो सकते हैं। मैने दो प्रोग्राम सेट किए हैं एक सुबह के लिए और एक इवनिंग के लिए। लेकिन इसमें टाइम सेट नहीं हो पा रहा है तो मैंने इसी के टाइम के अनुसार प्रोग्राम सेट कर दिया है। जैसे आज दिन सोमवार है लेकिन इसमें बुधवार है और टीम अभी 8:30 हुए है लेकिन इसमें 6:30 हुए है मुझे सुबह 8 बजे का टाइम सेट करने था तो मैंने 6 बजे ऑन टाइम और 6:10 पर ऑफ टाइम लगाया है.. शाम के लिए दूरसे प्रोग्राम में 18-18:10 का टाइम लगा दिया है.. और ऑटो मोड़ पर सेट कर के छोड़ दिया है। अब मुझे बाहर आने जाने पर पौधे में पानी की चिंता नही करनी है।
